Who is behind SUN-E?

A passionate team...

Yes, Rool'in is above all a team passionate about innovation and cycling... or by bike and innovation, you understand ?

The adventure began in 2013 and until 2016, Rool'in co-developed, improved and marketed a connected electric front wheel to easily switch from a conventional bike to an electric bike. Selected by Business France, the team went to CES in Las Vegas in 2017 with this solar photovoltaic wheel.

In the same year, the self-powered solar bike project is labeled by the Mov'eo competitiveness cluster. This is how SUN-E was born.

... and motley
The communicant

Always in the same mood, Stéphane led an environmental communication agency for more than 10 years before joining Rool'in. He started with Antoine in the development of Rool'in in 2013. Founding partner, he now has a role of strategic and marketing advisor.

The creative

Antoine begins with a classic but eclectic engineering career: Tunnel under the Manche, tolls, televisions, multihulls, sorting centers for mail and parcels ... He starts the adventure of entrepreneurship in 2009 where he then created several companies in solar energy. In 2013, Antoine and Stéphane draw the guidelines for the development of Rool'in.

The brain

Maurice, micro and nano-electronics doctor, - ex-thesis at the CNRS - lays out patents, and drives R & D developments. He is a leading solar energy specialist who headed a photovoltaic engineering consultancy before joining Rool'in in 2014.

The mechanic

Young engineer, graduated from EIGSI La Rochelle, Arthur polishes the mechanical design of the bike in 3D. It drills, assembles, glues, connects, screws and tests the prototypes. He participated in the design of the bike with different partners or industrial suppliers.

The designers

Thanks to many and pretty creations, we decided to give our trust to the agency Aerostudiodesign in Argentina. Facundo, Victoria and Francisco have created the futuristic design of SUN-E with clean and simple lines, which Rool'in presents today.
